Travel to Assisi is part of the journey—an unfolding into a slower, more contemplative landscape that shapes the rhythm of the workshop itself. Most participants arrive in Rome. From Rome, Assisi can be reached by train, car, or private transfer. The train journey typically takes 2–3 hours and passes through the scenic Umbrian countryside.

Hotel staff are available to assist with local transportation once you arrive. During free afternoons, participants often explore nearby towns such as Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, and Florence. Additional excursions may be organized throughout the program, including visits to historic sites, museums, and surrounding Umbrian villages.

Please note that airfare and ground transportation are not included in the workshop fee. For an additional fee, AWi offers airport transfers from Rome to Assisi.
