Caterina Bertolotto, an award-winning Italian teacher with over 25 years experience as a language instructor at the New School University in New York City, brings her unique and exciting teaching techniques to Italy. In this fun, challenging workshop, you will become comfortable with both handling simple, useful sentences and conversing with confidence in Italian.
Games, songs, interactive activities, and authentic material will be used. She will show her latest PowerPoint lessons with animations which will be used interactively during the class. You will also learn specific information and put it to practical use that same day!
A native Italian, Bertolotto makes complex issues basic, clear, and easy to understand. She will help you gain great communication skills - how to correctly pronounce Italian words, read simple Italian texts for comprehension, and accurately spell. Understanding Italian culture will be a part of this course, and there’s really no better way to learn the basics of a language than by surrounding yourself with native speakers. Whether you’ve never spoken a word of Italian, or you’re interested in brushing up your language skills, she has a special gift of making learning fun and exciting, and so this workshop is for you.
