College Credit

Students interested in taking Art Workshop International creative writing courses for college credit can do so through our relationship with John Cabot University in Rome, an accredited American University. Each two-week class is 3 credits and is conducted on a pass/fail basis.

The courses offered are under the auspices of the University’s Department of English Language and Literature, headed by Professor Carlos Dews.

To enroll in the Assisi 2012 college credit program for creative writing through John Cabot University, please call, or print out and email or mail us the application form below. Your application must be accompanied by a deposit or full payment. Early bird enrollment prices available until April 18, 2012.

2 weeks: EARLY BIRD—$4,860 ($374 per day); after April 18, 2012—$5,088 ($391 per day)
4 weeks: EARLY BIRD—$7,800 ($289 per day); after April 18, 2012—$8,175 ($303 per day)

Includes shared double room with bath in an air-conditioned four-star hotel, breakfast, four-course dinner, instruction and studio, lectures, and all gratuities. Non-participants, July 18 to August 14, $200 per day in a double room. Participants who arrive early or stay a few extra days, $200 per day. If a spouse or guest joins a participant before or after July 20 to August 16, $375 a day for both. All prices subject to minor changes based on rate of exchange.
Supplement: single with bath $250 per week for writers.
Not Included: Airfare, transportation to and from Assisi, field trips, liquor, wine, laundry, and meals outside the hotel.

Reservations are limited and will be accepted when accompanied by a deposit of $1000. Full refund before May 18, half refund before June 18.
