Art Workshop International every year welcomes participants who are recipients of fellowships,
grants, sabbaticals, or scholarships. It may be a writer who wants to explore
art, a teacher learning a new skill, or a mid-career artist adding to a portfolio.
To encourage our participants to use financial resources, Art Workshop International
is listing links to financial resources that may be useful for prospective writers, artists,
actors, teachers, etc. In addition, director Chris Spencer is available to assist with
any information that is needed in the application process.

Author Barbara Shoup explores Piero della Francesca in art.

In addition, Art Workshop International has started an Artist-in-Residence program. This
is for professional writers or artists that want to contribute to the workshop, but do not
want to teach. Artists-in-residence may be receiving a grant and have specific responsibilities
to fulfill as a result, or may bring other participants with them. This is a limited
program and on an invitation-only basis. Further information is available from Bea Kreloff,
Edith Isaac-Rose, or Chris Spencer at
